Issac Rayappan has a Bachelor's degree in science, Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Theology, Masters of Social Work and Philosopy in Social Work ( MSW & M.Phil). He worked above 12 years on health, education, child rights, human rights and community development projects. After several years of priestly duties and missionary work experience with the rural poor in remote villages and slum communities; he envisioned an organization with a fully committed working staff. Subsequently, he registered Kenosis Foundation (KF) with the Government of India on the 29, July 2013; in order to continue his mission. Issac leads the daily operations of Kenosis Foundation. He has some experience in nonviolent compassionate communication (NVC). He is a full-time contributor to multiple projects of the Kenosis Foundation and building partnerships across the world to work with different cultures and create more space for intercultural and youth exchange programs.
In addition to being co-founder of the Kenosis Foundation, Jesintha Mary has joined the team as general secretary and administrator of the organization. She is Senior Dialysis Technician and Therapist in Narayana Hrudayalaya multispeciality Hospital, Bangalore, State of Karnataka, India. She has completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Medicine, with specialization in technical and therapeutic dialysis. This is from one of the highest ranking universities; St. John’s Medical College and Hospital; in Bangalore, India. Daily, she monitors the functioning, administration, and allocation of funds to Kenosis projects. She works closely with the managing director and advisory committee.
Meet Bro. Antony Nesam, is one of the registered Board Member since its inception. At a young age, he decided to join the society of the Marianists congregation in 1999 to become a missionary after his Bachelor studies in Economics. Later he completed M.Phil in Social work. He has been actively involved making contribution to the mission of Marianists congregations in India. I have worked in the Marianists as a social worker and an educator in the Society of Mary. Presently, I am working with a solid waste management project which is run by REDS Bangalore, which could help many parents of the children in the slums in Bangalore. His motto is, “to do whatever he tells you.”
Peter Fernandes has completed his Master of Arts Degree in Sociology. He has above 8 years of fieldwork experience in social work, and 3 years’ experience working with young people in India. He works directly with vulnerable youth, under guidance by President and Managing Director of Kenosis Foundation. He has achieved great success in directing the daily functioning and life skills education in schools and colleges; as well as developing partnerships for dissemination of knowledge; and conducting workshops and training for the staff of other nongovernmental organizations.
Pauline joined Kenosis Foundation recently. She is self-motivated, energetic and an efficient problem solver; has lots of zeal to contribute in social development projects. She has recently completed graduation in bachelors in commerce (B. Com) at St. Philomena’s Mysore University for 3 years as Accounts Executive handling Tally Erp 9 Package and advanced in computer skills.
