Electives for Medical Students projects abroad in India

Program Facts

Volunteers must apply for this program at least 1-2 months in advance so they may be given enough time for their visas to be processed. Once arriving in India, volunteers will fly into the Bangalore International Airport and may then be placed in Bangalore city, Karnataka or the rural district of Tamilnadu for their program. The length of this project is a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks. You will have varied and multiple opportunities to work in multispecialty, clinics and health and community development projects and meet experienced doctors and local staffs.

 

Kenosis Projects Abroad offers a wide variety of international Medical Elective placements overseas in developing countries. These are individualized to specifically to meet the academic needs of students in medical school and other degree programs training to be doctors, nurses, dentists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and midwives.

Kenosis has over several years of experience collaborating with medical professionals abroad. We will provide you with a placement that not only meets your elective requirements but also gives you a complete and rewarding experience of the country in which you are based. You will be assigned a qualified supervisor who is there to provide support and guidance throughout your placement. We arrange your accommodation, meals, and insurance, and have strong in-country support to make sure your time abroad runs as smoothly as possible.
